Learn more about Aya Hawash

Aya is a Freelance Artist, trainer and former social worker. She has wide ranging experience with NGOS in community mobilisation and sensitization.

Aya has a Masters degree in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University in Beirut. She specialises in Art Education, Field Installation, Visual Arts, Oil Painting, and Art History. She has extensive experience working with diverse populations of adolescents, both inside and outside of the classroom. She has provided both individual and group psychotherapy to a socioeconomically diverse population of teenagers at Generation for Peace and Intersos. With Rotary Lebanon and Rafic Hariri High School, Aya led group play therapy activities for students with a variety of behavioral disorders.

Through training and her own art works, Aya builds relationships between artists and enthusiasts communicating across cultures and artistic concepts. She has worked as an Exhibitor and mediator, as well as training in gallery management, in both Beirut and Dubai.
