Senior Digital Strategist: European Climate Foundation – Canada/ Philippines
Innah Gaspar is the Senior Digital Strategist at the Migration Project for the European Climate Foundation - empowering grassroots organizations with digital tactics to amplify campaigns on climate change, migration and racial justice. Previously, Innah worked as the Communications Coordinator for CARE International Secretariat where she coordinated global campaigns on gender equality and humanitarian crises, and as the Digital Communications Specialist for Amnesty International Canada where she utilized the power of social media to drive social action for human rights.
Innah believes in the power of art and storytelling for peacebuilding. As a peacebuilding facilitator, she has organized reconciliation conferences for Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth in Canada, conducted interfaith dialogue through theater in Nigeria, and leads consent and active bystander workshops in Canada and the UK. She received her peacebuilding training from Mindanao Peacebuilding Initiative (MPI) in Davao City, Philippines, and later worked with MPI to facilitate workshops on non-violence and trauma healing.
Innah holds a MSc in Media, Communication and Development at the London School of Economics, and completed her BA in Public Affairs and Policy Management, specializing in Human Rights, at Carleton University.
